For some time I had been looking into learning calligraphy, when I came across this fantastic book. It's an ideal way to start learning all about lettering and building a nice creative handwriting. It's full of nice, interesting tips and suggestions.
I love the way of this incredible book!!! Soooo many tips and tricks how to work with pen, brush and pencil and etc... Will be nice like a present.
Schöne Ideen, gute Anleitung! Sehr einfache Erklärungen, in kurzer Zeit hat man den Dreh raus ;) Empfehlenswert und eines der besten Bücher dieser Art
This book really is helpfull for everyone starting handlettering just like me. It explains everything in a pretty easy and uncomplicated way.
Super Buch für jeden Einsteiger, super Tipps und auch gute Anregung um wieder kreativ zu werden!! Am meisten mag ich das Calk Board Segment.
In diesem Buch findet man unterschiedliche Künstler, die konkrete Anleitungen geben. Es gibt auch Übungsseiten, die habe ich mir herauskopiert. Einfaches Schulenglisch. Dicke Seiten, besonders gute Qualität. Macht Spaß!
Habe dieses Buch meiner Freunding zum Geburtstag geschenkt. Sie findet es toll und holt sich sogar heute nocht Tipps daraus (ist immerhin schon 6 Monate alt und etliche male durchgesehen worden).
...und daher auch enttäuscht. Ich dachte es gäbe konkrete Anleitungen für unterschiedliche Schriften die man nutzen kann, stattdessen wird erst sehr ausgiebig über Kalligrafie geschrieben (und dazu gibt es auch die Übungsseiten), dann kommen Beispiele wie man das Handlettering verarbeiten kann - aber woher man die Schriften dazwischen "erlernt" bleibt mir verschlossen. Ich habe da mit ein bisschen Inspiration oder vielleicht sogar Vorgaben gerechnet. Schade, Fehlkauf.
